  1. I like the contrast of the snow on the frog, nice shot!

  2. He looks like he’s doing a trick – balancing that snow on his nose!

  3. Poor guy. You did ace the white balance and exposure making the green all that more striking. While not wanting to sound like Ron’s boasting of his weather it was warm enough here that the tree frogs were making tentative noises.

That’s a funny shot Mary Lou. I love the surprised expression on the frog’s face.

Your composition and focus were spot on.

Here’s to seeing him sunning on a lily pad in the near future.

  5. Great composition and color. Kind of looks like he has a rhinoceros horn under that pile of snow!

  6. Great close-up with very nice bokeh. :O)

  7. I think there is one big sneeze ready to explode when the poor thing thaws out. The frog color makes a perfect contrast for this winter image.

  8. Excellent choice for cold! He’s a cutie and a keeper.

  9. I was wondering the other day where turtles and frongs when when things were cold and frozen……Hmmm! Now I know. Cute snow frog.

I bet he wishes he was in hibernation w/ the rest of his friends! He is still adorable – even if he is snow covered! 🙂

  11. Aw, he’s a cutie! I can’t believe you’ve got so much snow. You did a great job on the white balance – your snow is actually white! I’ve been having problems with that lately….

  12. Are you trying to tell us that he will thaw in the spring and be alright, well I for one doubt it, Poor Kermit.
